About Pomeranians:

The Pomeranian is a cocky, animated companion with an extroverted personality. This compact little dog is an active toy breed with an alert character and fox-like expression. Today, the Pomeranian is a popular companion dog and competitive show dog. They can come in all colors, patterns, and variations although orange and red are the most popular.

The breed’s name originally came from the historical region of Pomerania (now present day Germany and Poland). Originally weighing nearly 30 pounds, the dog served as an able herder of sheep in its larger form. They were not well known until 1870, when the Kennel Club (England) recognized the so-called Spitz dog. In 1888, Queen Victoria fell in love with a Pomeranian in Florence, Italy, and brought the specimen back to England, influencing its popularity dramatically.

Pomeranians are very intelligent dogs that love to please. Because of their outgoing temperaments, they can be very good family dogs with the right training. Due to their small size they don’t require much exercise, but are an energetic breed that needs attention from their people frequently. They possess a thick double coat, which needs to be brushed on a regular basis.

Our Pomeranians:

BANDIT

Bandit is our male Pomeranian.  He was born October 30, 2007.  Bandit is a White/Sable Parti-color Pomeranian.  He is AKC Registered, CPR Registered and APRI Registered. Bandit is a ball of energy.  He is always on the go, but stays close when not on a leash.  Bandit is a very loving and affectionate dog, and is quite loyal to his family.  He gets along well with other dogs, and enjoys playing with our Siamese cat. Bandit has fathered five litters of Pomimos with Vesta, one of our American Eskimo dames, and one litter with Vanna, our newest American Eskimo dame.  He also fathered three litters of pure Pomeranians with Josie, our Pomeranian dame.

JOSIE

Josie is our female Pomeranian.  She was born February 20, 2008.  Josie is a cream colored Pomeranian.  She is AKC Registered, CPR Registered and APRI Registered. Josie is a princess and is sure to let everyone know.  She's always on the couch or on our laps.  Josie loves to be pampered and spoiled.  She is very motherly, and emjoys playing with her puppies. Josie recently gave birth to her third litter of Pomeranian puppies, fathered by Bandit.

Past Litters:

Josie and Bandit had their first litter on Saturday, August 8, 2009.  The litter consisted of 3 male puppies.
