About Pomimos:

The Pomimo is a cross between the Pomeranian and an American Eskimo.  They usually weigh 10 - 17 pounds and are between 7 and 12 inches tall, being smaller than the American Eskimo, but larger than a typical Pomeranian.

Like both the Poms and American Eskimos they are bred from, the coat is thick and long, with a dense undercoat.  Coat colors include white, cream, orange, brown and black or mixes of these colors.  Grooming needs are like that of purebred Poms, with daily brushing and occasional bathing.

These dogs are affectionate, loyal, and intelligent.  Although they can have the temperament of either breed, they generally have a good temperament, get along with children, and make good pets.  They need moderate exercise and respond well to consistent training.

BANDIT

Bandit is our male Pomeranian.  He was born October 30, 2007.  Bandit is a White/Sable Parti-color Pomeranian.  He is AKC Registered, CPR Registered and APRI Registered. Bandit is a ball of energy.  He is always on the go, but stays close when not on a leash.  Bandit is a very loving and affectionate dog, and is quite loyal to his family.  He gets along well with other dogs, and enjoys playing with our Siamese cat. Bandit has fathered four litters of Pomimos with Vesta, one of our American Eskimo dames, and one litter with Vanna, our newest American Eskimo dame.  He also fathered three litters of pure Pomeranians with Josie, our Pomeranian dame.

VESTA

Vesta is our original female American Eskimo.  She was born February 2, 2003.  She is CPR Registered.  We will be retiring Vesta from our breeding program at the end of this year. Vesta was the first member of our pack.  She is the alpha-female of the group, and isn't afraid to show her motherly instincts.  She even mothers our cats!  Vesta is very loving, and can't get enough affection.  She is also protective in nature (she doesn't bite, only barks). Vesta has mothered two American Eskimo litters and four Pomimo litters with Bandit, our male Pomeranian.  She will have her final litter in the fall/winter of 2010.

VANNA

Vanna is the newest addition to our breeding program.  She is a female American Eskimo.  Vanna is two years old, and weighs about 17 lbs.  She is CPR Registered. Vanna is a sweet and affectionate dog.  She is very calm and submissive.  Vanna loves to have her belly rubbed, and her head scratched.  She is also a "snuggler;" Vanna often will cuddle up next to us on the couch or in bed. Vanna recently gave birth to her first litter of Pomimos.  The litter consisted of four girls and three boys, and had both black and brown markings.
